It sounds like two things, but they're actually the same thing.
To pay by credit card or change your subscription:
1 - Log into your Viewbook account and click the "Account and payment" button near the top right of the screen.
2 - Click on your current subscription status. If you are in trial, this will say Trialling.
3 - Choose one of the available options.
4 - Enter your payment info. Make sure you don't skip any boxes.
What about the balance from my old subscription?
The unused portion of your old subscription will automatically be applied to the new subscription. If your old subscription was managed by Paypal your balance will not be transferred automatically. There is no direct line of communication from Paypal to your account. You must contact us to let us know if there is a balance on your Paypal subscription. This is the only way we can credit your account if you previously paid with Paypal.
Why can't I use PayPal anymore?
The main reason is that our credit card system communicates with our account software better. If your Paypal account is still running, and you don't want to change your subscription you don't have to worry about it. Just keep doing what you are doing.
What if I don't have a credit card?
Today, it's fairly easy to get a credit card, and it has become the standard for payments on the internet. If you don't have a credit card we're happy to keep your account open for a couple of weeks so you can arrange a card. If that's not an option for you, maybe you can ask a friend or relative.
