Enable sub-pages like; Work > Project A + Project B + Project C, would be appropriate for those that want to highlight their work in a project-per-project hierarchy.
Keep up the great work !

Is this the same idea as "Allow the Collection page type to link to other Collection pages" which is a separate request?

Let us know if this is the same request, or if you want to create 'sub menus' or 'dropdown' menus.
I was the originator of the "collection pages linking to other collection pages" request, but I'm not sure whether this request is equivalent. But the way I see it, my suggestion should provide the flexibility to implement most access structures. Until something like this is in place I can't progress with my website seriously.
Thanks John.
We've planned the 'Collection Pages inside Collection Pages' option to be released within a couple of weeks from now.
Great news!
Is this any closer to being implemented? I think drop-downs and sub-menus are also a great idea! I also would like to have more hierarchy structuring to my website....
I look forward to seeing this feature very soon. I really need this improve my portfolio.
Me too! I need sub-menus!
For now a trick to create a sub menu / sub site is to create a second site and redirect one of the pages in your main site to the first page of the second, the sub site. On each page of the sub site you can add a <back link. The redirect option you can find under the page 'settings'
Sub-menu's would be a MASSIVE help for me, I'd like to create a lot more pages of info on my site but don't want a load of links in the top menu bar. If you guys aren't already working on this, I and by the sounds of it, a lot of others would really appreciate it if it could be implemented soon.
i agree with everyones comments above... i was just trying to figure this out! pretty please allow sub-menus!
Can we have drop down menus and more flexibility with logos?
Beste Rien,
Groetjes,
Aryan
This is an important feature for me. Do you know when subpages will be available? Will it happen before mid August 2011? Otherwise I will have to do a lot of work using the workaround.
Best,
Steve
We're planning to add sub-pages in Viewbook V3. So it will take a while before this is available.

By "sub-pages" do you include accessing collection pages from other collection pages (the feature you promised in March)? Or is this mod going to be released before V3? Do you have a realistic estimated date for the release of V3?
Thanks
John
John, yes collection pages can be linked to other collection pages in V3. We aimed for this summer for V3, but it will take us another couple of months to bring it to full completion.
Thats a great feature!
Thank you!

Do you have a definite release date for V3 yet? I have been waiting for this feature (linked Collection pages) for over a year now, and it would be nice to finally see it. Although I understand your preference for releasing everything at the same time in a new version of the product, a staged release of new features (this one was promised for last March) would keep your current users happier I think.
John
+1 on waiting for V3 -- what are the delays? -- any realistic target date?
