An album is a set of images. Each album has it's own Viewbook URL so you can share it. For example: thomas.viewbook.com/my_new_car.
You create a presentation by clicking the 'New' button in toolbar. Simply type a title for your album and start uploading images.
More info: Read the Getting Started with Viewbook tutorial to get more info on creating an album.
Comments
Is there any capability to allow visitors to leave comments on the album or on a photo?
We do not support comments as of yet. However this is a feature that is on our list. Thanks for the feedback!
Hi Rien,
Thanks for the quick reply. Do you have a time frame for this? Its very crucial in my decision but my trial ends in 1 month! I want to know that at least if I have that to look forward to very soon.
We do not have a timeframe for this feature yet.
You can also post it here so other people can comment / vote:

Thanks.
Hi,
How do i add a background color to an album? I would like different colors for each album. I recently upgraded to pro.
Alix.
Hi Alix,
For the individual albums, select an album in the upper album section, click the 'style album' tab and in the styling panel under 'General' you can set the color.
For albums in your site pages, they are transparent and take the color of your pages background.
If you do like to give albums different background colors in your pages, you can embed albums with the embed code in a text page.
Hope this helps!
Hello!
Is it possible to create sub-albums? Like in Chinese boxes: smaller folders in bigger ones? I'm asking because I'd like to have an album entitled "Projects" devoted to my series of photographs. I'd like to keep each series separate.
@Joanna There is no sub-album functionality in Viewbook. With the Pro plan you can use the collection page for this. You could title that page 'Portfolio' and put different sub portfolios (albums) on that page. With some tricks it's also possible to create sub-menu's and sub-sites.
